Dr. Marc Bret Cano joined the group in November 2019. After received his Ph.D. degree from  Queen Mary University of London in 2015, he was a postdoc Shanghai Jiao Tong University for two years before joining the Iowa group.

● Spearheaded seamless operational functioning of the ATLAS experiment and up to 10-member research groups.
● Active participant in data collection from high-energy proton-proton collisions by monitoring and trouble-shooting any issues that arise in the Liquid Argon Calorimeter & Level-1 calorimeter trigger operations.
● Automatized data processing with the aid of python-based software tools to speed-up troubleshooting.
